As of writing this I am officially down 47 pounds! Wow, never did I think I would get this far again. Like I mentioned in this post, I have lost 85 pounds before, but didn’t do it the right way and it came back with a vengeance. I always felt like I could never do it again and here I am well on my way to accomplishing that.
Honestly, I can say that the Keto Diet changed my life. I know that sounds cheesy and over the top, but I really don’t think that if I dieted another way I would have been this successful. To be honest, I probably would have quit a couple weeks in. Keto offers me the food I like and the feeling of never being deprived. When I want to I can eat a lot and still lose weight. I find myself with a lot more energy, a better overall attitude and a confidence I haven’t had in quite a while. While I still have a long way to go, I am not discounting how far I have come.
So why am I so successful? I find it is easy to stay motivated by giving myself small, obtainable goals and never depriving myself when I am hungry. I usually have a nice little dessert at the end of the night as well (see some of my favorites here). The sugar free desserts keep my sweet tooth at bay.
